As a 19-year-old I founded and was the editor-in-chief of the youth magazine SEIN. From 2017-2019 we gathered an editorial team of 100+ young Danish people between the age of 15 and 25. I did editing, funding, all kinds of creative work, mentoring and wrote monthly newsletters.

Mosen – et litterært arkiv
The title of my Master’s Thesis in Comparative Literature from 2024 was The bog – a literary archive. It was written for the Department of Arts and Cultural Studies at the University of Copenhagen

Short summary: In the context of our planetary climate- and biodiversity crisis I study how stories and landscapes are intimately connected. The genuine, muddy bog of the rural Danish landscape is the primary object of analysis, but the study draws on a variety of literary representations of bogs and the recurring figures connected to them. This includes a collection of popular legends connected to bogs gathered by the Danish folklore collector Evald Tang Kristensen in the late eighteen hundreds, poetical writings on bog bodies dug out of the peat soil, like Mosefolket (1965) by P. V. Glob, and a collection of poems about bogs, care and reproduction in Bøgetid (2022) by Nanna Storr-Hansen. The study concludes that reading bogs as literary archives is a fruitful way to tie the cultural and ecological significance of bogs together and a way of engaging literary historiography in discussions on landscape preservation.

Folding Linen Back to Flax: Holding on to Hollow Hose
Essay and artwork consisting of four ghostly posters developed in collaboration with the Danish artist Therese Bülow during our residency at Rønnebæksholm Kunsthal in 2023

The essay and artwork adresses how the devaluation of clothing and textiles in modern day history is kind of spooky and tries to showcase the hard work and tactile sensibilities of linen production in rural Denmark
